Jobot is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our established manufacturing-oriented finance team. In this role you will support financial reporting, maintain the general ledger across multiple sites, and partner with Operations to drive precise financial outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates bring 5–7+ years in manufacturing accounting, strong GAAP knowledge, and ERP/Excel proficiency. CPA or CPA-track is preferred, with opportunities for career growth and career advancement

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of accounting experience in manufacturing or product-based environments.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and general ledger understanding.
• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and audits.
• Inventory or cost accounting exposure preferred.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel.
• CPA or CPA-track preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy across multiple entities or locations.
• Support cost accounting and inventory-related activities within a product-based environment.
• Assist with financial statement preparation in accordance with GAAP.
• Partner with internal teams to analyze variances, improve processes, and support operational decision-making.
• Assist with internal and external audits, including preparation of supporting documentation.
• Strengthen internal controls and identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows.

Job Title: Senior Accountant

About the Role: We are a well-established, growth-oriented organization operating in a structured, product-driven environment with a strong emphasis on quality, precision, and operational excellence. This organization supports multi-site operations and maintains a strong commitment to continuous improvement and process optimization. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in supporting financial reporting, maintaining the general ledger, and ensuring accuracy across all accounting functions. This position partners closely with Finance, Operations, and Leadership to drive timely and accurate financial results in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy across multiple entities or locations
• Support cost accounting and inventory-related activities within a product-based environment

Qualifications

• Exposure to inventory or cost accounting strongly preferred
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
• CPA or CPA-track preferred
