Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager in a fast-growing manufacturing environment. You will oversee accounting operations, lead the month-end close, and ensure accurate financial reporting while partnering with leadership on budgeting and strategic planning.

The role requires 7+ years of accounting experience (2+ in leadership), a CPA or similar certification is preferred, and strong cost accounting in manufacturing. Competitive benefits accompany a high-visibility, impact-driven position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA (or similar certification) is preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years experience managing teams.
• Strong cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Tax services experiences is preferred.
• Experience with inventory accounting and ERP systems (Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
• Proven ability to lead month-end close and financial reporting processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

This role plays a key part in managing the close process, maintaining financial integrity, and supporting strategic decision-making. The Controller will also lead and develop accounting staff while partnering with leadership on budgeting and financial planning initiatives.
