Job summary

Job description

A growing consumer products company is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its accounting and finance team. This position will play an important role in the month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing journal entries, completing balance-sheet reconciliations and ensuring the accuracy of financial statements.

Key responsibilities include financial reporting, variance analysis, budgeting and forecasting support, maintaining internal controls and assisting with annual audits. The Senior Accountant will also partner with other departments to research accounting issues, improve reporting and streamline financial processes.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, at least 4 years of relevant accounting experience and strong knowledge of GAAP. Advanced Excel skills are required, while experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power BI is highly preferred. Experience within a consumer products, distribution or manufacturing environment would be a plus.
