Vaco by Highspring is seeking a Senior Accountant in Duluth, GA to support month-end close, financial reporting, and cross-functional analyses. You will manage journal entries, reconciliations, and intercompany activities while ensuring GAAP compliance and strong internal controls.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Perform intercompany and multi-entity accounting activities.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, and analyses.
• Support external audits and maintain internal controls compliance.
• Collaborate with finance and operations on budgeting and forecasting.

• Mentor junior accounting staff.

Senior Accountant | Growing Organization

We're partnering with a growing organization seeking a Senior Accountant to join its accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys a mix of technical accounting, financial reporting, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.

The Senior Accountant will play a key role in the month-end close process, financial reporting, account reconciliations, audit support, and special projects. This position offers strong visibility across the organization and the opportunity to contribute to ongoing process and system improvements as the company continues to grow.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
• Perform intercompany and multi-entity accounting activities
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses
• Support external audits and maintain compliance with GAAP and internal controls
• Partner with finance and operational teams on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Identify process improvement opportunities and help drive efficiencies
• Participate in ERP enhancements, system upgrades, and other special projects
• Mentor junior accounting team members and support their development

What We're Looking For
