Qualifications

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• CPA designation or progress toward certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and record journal entries, accruals, and other month-end adjustments.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and investigate/resolution of reconciling items.
• Analyze account activity and investigate variances to ensure accuracy of financial results.
• Maintain general ledger accounts and support the integrity of financial data.
• Assist with documenting and improving accounting processes to enhance efficiency and strengthen internal controls.

Role Overview

Our client is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team in Charlotte, NC. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to build on their experience in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the month-end close process, balance sheet reconciliations, and continuous improvement initiatives while supporting the overall accounting function.
