Vaco by Highspring is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to lead a small team and collaborate with operations and finance leadership in a growing manufacturing environment.

This role offers exposure to GAAP-compliant financial reporting, month-end close, process improvements, and opportunities to shape accounting practices and drive efficiencies across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including manufacturing accounting experience.
• Previous lead, supervisory, or team leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, month-end close, and internal controls.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including manufacturing accounting experience.
• Previous lead, supervisory, or team leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, month-end close, and internal controls.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA and/or MBA preferred.
• Experience with business process improvements, financial analysis, auditing, and budgeting.
• Public accounting a plus.
