Ringside Talent is seeking a Senior Accountant to own core monthly close activities, prepare GAAP financial statements, and drive reporting accuracy in a hybrid role based in Dublin, OH.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of accounting, a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, knowledge of ERP systems and Excel, and CPA progress is a plus; there is room to grow with the finance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years of general accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of GAAP and month-end close procedures.
• Comfortable with ERP/accounting systems and strong Excel skills.
• Detail-oriented with solid analytical instincts.
• Able to manage competing deadlines in a hybrid setting.
• CPA or progress toward CPA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Prepare accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Analyze account balances and investigate variances, resolving discrepancies proactively.
• Support budgeting and forecasting efforts with reliable, well-documented data.
• Assist with audit preparation, pulling together schedules and supporting documentation as needed.
• Help identify and implement improvements to close processes and reporting accuracy.
• Partner with other departments to ensure financial data stays consistent and reliable.
• Provide guidance and review support to less experienced accounting staff.
