National construction company seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Senior Accountant to join this growing finance team. This role is ideal for someone with a background with both public accounting and private industry accounting and a passion for process improvement, ERP systems, and project accounting. While this role is remote, the candidate must be located in the Denver metropolitan area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead general ledger management and monthly close activities across multiple entities
• Own the project accounting process, including work-in-process reporting and job costing
• Prepare and analyze financial data, investigate variances, and drive insights
• Support the implementation of a new ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics 365)
• Identify and implement process improvements and ensure compliance with GAAP
• Perform sales tax filings and support external audits

Qualifications:

• CPA (active or in progress) preferred, but not required
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 2–6 years of accounting experience
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills; ERP experience is a plus
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Curious, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced, change-oriented environment
