Tasman Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team in Colorado with a hybrid work arrangement. The role focuses on accurate financial reporting, month-end close, and internal controls to support strategic growth.

The ideal candidate has a strong GAAP background, 3+ years of experience, and advanced Excel skills. You will collaborate with the Controller and CFO to drive process improvements and ensure timely financial results.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
  • 3+ years of accounting experience in a fast-paced, mid-sized organization.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience with accounting and financial systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports for leadership.
  • Support the monthly close with journal entries and accruals.
  • Maintain prepaid accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Complete monthly bank reconciliations and monitor banking activity.
  • Assist with billing and AR aging reviews.
  • Coordinate and assist with annual audits and 1099 preparation.
  • Work collaboratively with departments across the organization.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects.

Support Strategic Growth.Pay: $80,000 – $90,000 per yearPosition Type: Full-Time, ExemptLocation: Colorado (Hybrid)Work Arrangement: Hybrid; 3 or more days in office preferredReports To: ControllerThe RoleThe Senior Accountant plays a key role in maintaining the financial health and operational excellence of Tasman by ensuring the timely and accurate completion of accounting functions, financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close activities.This position works closely with the Controller and CFO to support accounting operations, analyze financial results, develop process improvements, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
