Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP and month-end close processes.
• Experience within a PE-backed or private-equity portfolio company a plus.
• Strong Excel skills and an analytical mindset.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort operating in a fast-paced, in-office environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Own the month-end and year-end close process, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Support the annual audit and tax preparation processes, liaising with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Analyze financial data and prepare variance analyses and management reporting.
• Assist with cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and PE sponsor reporting requirements.
• Support process improvement initiatives as the company scales.
