Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
• 5+ years progressive accounting experience.
• Experience supporting SEC reporting (10-K, 10-Q) preferred.
• CPA license preferred.
• Experience in multinational and/or large public companies preferred.
• NetSuite experience preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, XLOOKUP) and large data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Execute month-end close activities with timely, accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and post journal entries; maintain GL integrity.
• Contribute to SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q) and audit support.
• Coordinate foreign statutory audits and respond to auditor requests.
• Perform variance analysis to explain trends and aid decisions.
• Conduct reconciliations and balance sheet reviews; resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support finance operations.
• Support SOX compliance activities and process improvements.
• Engage in ad hoc projects and reporting enhancements.
• Utilize advanced Excel to analyze large datasets and improve reporting efficiency.

The Senior Accountant is responsible for supporting the monthly close process, maintaining the integrity of financial records, and assisting with external reporting and audit activities. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

• Execute month-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and post journal entries; maintain the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger.
• Contribute to the preparation of SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q) and other regulatory reports - prepare schedules for footnotes and respond to audit queries
• Assist in the coordination and execution of foreign statutory audits, including preparation of supporting documentation and resolution of auditor requests.
• Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, explain fluctuations, and support management decision-making.
• Perform account reconciliations and balance sheet reviews; identify and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial operations and reporting.
• Support SOX compliance efforts, including documentation, control testing, and process improvements.
• Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned (ad hoc projects).
• Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze large datasets and improve reporting efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting (required).
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience in multinational and/or large public companies preferred.
• Experience supporting SEC reporting (10-K, 10-Q) preferred.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferred.
• NetSuite experience preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (including pivot tables, XLOOKUP, and large data analysis).
• Strong analytical, prioritization, and communication skills.

The expected salary range for this position is $110,000 $125,000 per year
