Job summary

Onco360 Pharmacy is seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee 340B financial processes and ensure accurate recording of claim level transactions. The role emphasizes data analysis, reconciliations, and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in accounting, month end close and data reconciliation.
• Degree in accounting or commensurate experience.
• Experience with 340B or medical/pharmacy data is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve claim level data from multiple third-party administrators and reconcile in Excel.
• Record accounting entries for 340B revenue, COGS, inventory receivables, accruals and payables.
• Consolidate large Excel data sets for analysis and GL reconciliation.
• Track inventory receivable details and create aging reports by NDC and entity.
• Process invoices with claim level support and ensure inventory receivables are matched.
• Analyze 340B variances between external reports and internal Excel files.
• Summarize monthly results and communicate to Accounting Manager.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and support audits.

Highly analytical and detail-oriented individual needed to ensure the accuracy of financial transactions related to the 340B program with the ability to analyze data, identify issues and provide recommendations. Responsible for recording and reviewing claim level transactions, reconciling large data sets, researching and solving for issues and providing quality control over 340B reporting in an Excel environment.

Major Responsibilities for theSenior Accountant:

• Retrieve claim level data from multiple third-party administrators, review for accuracy and reconcile to internal data within Excel reports.


• Calculate and record accounting entries from claim level data for dispense fee revenue, costs of goods sold, inventory receivables, accruals and payables for 340B based on contractual obligations and current pricing files.


• Consolidate large Excel data sets for analysis, reporting and reconciliation to the general ledger.


• Track and update inventory receivable details for all monthly claims and replenishments by NDC and entity and create manual inventory receivable aging monthly by NDC and entity via excel.


• Track and process invoices, verifying claim level support and calculations per contractual obligations and ensuring offsetting inventory receivables are matched.


• Understand, track and solve for 340B claim level transactions variances between external reports provided in various formats and internal Excel files.


• Analyze and summarize monthly results and communicate to Accounting Manager.


• Prepare monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.


• Effectively communicate with internal and external partners who work in non-financial roles to solve for 340B issues.


• Participate in development and documentation of policies and procedures to maintain and strengthen internal controls and identify and assist in development of process improvement opportunities.


• Provide outside auditors with assistance; gather necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit.
