Senior Accountant (Hybrid) – Chicago, IL

$80,000 – $95,000 base salary

Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote

A national leader in roadway safety services and products is seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join their team at the company’s Chicago office. This hybrid role offers the chance to work closely with leadership while contributing to the financial health of a growing, high-impact organization.

As a Senior Accountant, you'll be responsible for a wide range of accounting functions, including general ledger management, month-end close, and financial reporting—while supporting ongoing process improvements and special projects.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and post general ledger entries and perform account reconciliations
• Assist in month-end close and preparation of financial results
• Coordinate fixed asset tracking, depreciation, and disposals
• Ensure timely and accurate compliance with sales tax filings and other regulatory reporting
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA preferred but not required
• Experience in general accounting and month-end close
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
