Summary

The individual in this role is responsible for collaborating with the Finance team to ensure an efficient and timely month-end close process. The role involves providing assistance with SOX compliance and participating in the annual budgeting process.

Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with month-end and quarter-end closing accounting tasks, including preparation/input of journal entries, ensuring compliance with US GAAP.
• Ensure that reconciliations and supporting schedules and analyses are completed on time and in accordance with the monthly closing schedule.
• Prepare and maintain month-end closing shared folders.
• Prepare and assist with month-end analytical review of actuals versus budget/forecast.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
• Provide assistance with SOX compliance by ensuring internal controls are adhered to.
• Provide assistance to the Sr. Manager of Financial Operations and Accounting on quarter-end inventory close and various analyses.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• Minimum of 4 - 6 years of experience with a solid understanding of GAAP. Experience in public accounting preferred.
• Ability to manage a wide range of finance-related responsibilities with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and adherence to deadlines and timelines.
• Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to balance daily operations and project work in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficient in MS Office Suite, and experience with general ledger systems.

Pay Transparency

The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is $48.00 - $48.00/hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
