About the Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Manage core month-end close responsibilities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts while researching and resolving discrepancies
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting deliverables
• Analyze account activity and financial results, identifying trends and explaining fluctuations
• Support enhancements to accounting procedures, internal controls, and reporting processes
• Collaborate with business partners across departments to drive operational improvements and efficiencies
• Participate in annual audit activities and coordinate responses to auditor requests
• Contribute to special projects, process improvement initiatives, and system implementation efforts
• Maintain and enhance accounting policies, documentation, and process controls to support continued growth

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2-6+ years of accounting experience with increasing levels of responsibility
• Public accounting experience or experience within a private equity-backed, acquisitive, or high-growth organization is highly valued
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems
• Proven ability to streamline processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving capabilities
• Effective communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of an organization
