Base pay range

$85,000.00/yr - $105,000.00/yr

Annual Bonus

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of Accounting experience in the Construction Industry. This role will report to a Controller with a dotted line to the Chief Accounting Officer.

This role is onsite with great flexibility.

Responsibilities

Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly.
Monitor and eliminate internal and intercompany transactions.
Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in accordance with GAAP.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
Monitor actual performance against budget and report on significant variances.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

Maintain/distribute daily cash flow report and reconcile to general ledger monthly.
Reconcile accounts receivable and accounts payable balances.
Manage cash flow by monitoring collections and payments.

Compliance and Internal Controls:

Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation to auditors and participating as needed.

Fixed Assets:

Monitor and report on the financial performance and usage of construction assets.
Ensure proper allocation of costs to expenses or betterments.
Maintain fixed asset schedules and roll forwards. Provide schedules for audit, income tax, property tax, and monthly financial reports.
Ensure depreciation and revenues are properly posted.
Calculate and record additions and deletions appropriately.
