Job summary

Wintermeyer Ventures is seeking an experienced accounting lead to join our finance team in California. You will be the primary accounting resource for US and international operations, partnering with the Controller to ensure accurate reporting, robust financial processes, and audit-ready records.

Responsibilities include managing payables and receivables, payroll, general ledger, and month-end closes for international entities, along with intercompany accounting and multi-entity consolidations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and an active CPA license.
• Five to eight years of hands-on accounting experience, including at least two to three years in full-cycle accounting.
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP, ASC 606, accrual accounting, and financial statement preparation.
• Experience in a fast-paced startup or high-growth company, with intercompany accounting and multi-entity consolidation experience.

About the Role

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and an active CPA license.
• Five to eight years of hands-on accounting experience, including at least two to three years in full-cycle accounting.
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP, ASC 606, accrual accounting, and financial statement preparation.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and reconciliation tools.
• Experience in a fast-paced startup or high-growth company, with intercompany accounting and multi-entity consolidation experience.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $120,000 to $200,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
