The Role and the Team

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our fast-paced, high performing team in Sunnyvale, CA. This individual will be an integral part of the accounting team. This role will report to the Accounting Manager and have general ledger responsibilities including, but not limited to, Payroll, Commissions, Bonus, Accruals, and Month-end, Quarter-end, and Year-end close procedures. In addition, the individual will support any ad-hoc projects as needed by upper management. The ideal candidate will have experience in all these areas. Job Requirements

• Prepare Journal entries and account reconciliations including, but not limited to Payroll, Commission, Bonus and various Accruals
• Oversee and manage day-to-day payroll related accounting tasks and other requested tasks
• Responsible for various accruals at month end and assigned reconciliations
• Prepare various balance sheet and income statement fluctuation analysis on a monthly and quarterly basis for management reporting
• Assist with KPI, metrics and analysis in various areas, including process analysis and system improvement projects
• Assist with process improvement projects in process design, discovery, and testing
• Provide PBCs/schedules as requested by the external auditors or internal SOX team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• 4 to 5 years of general accounting experience in industry and/or a public accounting firm
• Demonstrate strong working knowledge of US GAAP
• Strong organization and verbal/communication skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and prioritization skills
• CPA preferred, but not required
• Experience with ERP (MS Dynamics D365) and FloQast is a plus

SF Bay Area, New York City Metro Area:

Base Pay Range: 96,040.00 - 150,920.00 USD

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Washington DC Metro, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Texas, Washington, Virginia, and Alaska:

Base Pay Range: 76,440.00 - 120,120.00 USD

All other cities and states excluding those listed above:

Base Pay Range: 68,320.00 - 107,360.00 USD
