Job summary

Jobot in Rhode Island is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Accounting and Finance team. You will manage the general ledger, perform bank reconciliations, and oversee cash flow, budgeting and forecasting to support strategic decision‑making.

This is a permanent role offering growth and impact. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and proficiency with ERP systems and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
• Proven experience in bank reconciliations, cash flow management, budgeting and forecasting, and general ledger management.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP.
• Proficient in Excel; ERP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. A Master’s degree or CPA certification will be considered as a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting or related field.
• Proven experience in bank reconciliations, cash flow management, budgeting and forecasting, and general ledger management.
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with exceptional skills in Excel.
• Experience with a large ERP system is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
