Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our Accounting team. This critical role will manage key financial processes, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support strategic decision-making through accurate financial reporting and analysis.

You’ll work closely with leadership, help shape internal processes, and contribute to a collaborative team culture in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

What You’ll Do

• Lead month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and allocations

• Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies

• Prepare and analyze financial statements and support monthly variance analysis for executive leadership

• Partner with the Controller to implement internal controls and streamline accounting procedures

• Ensure full compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies

• Assist with budgeting and forecasting by providing financial insights and modeling

• Support external audits, preparing schedules and responding to auditor inquiries

• Assist with inventory and COGS reporting and analysis

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial planning and operations

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a strong plus)

• 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles

• Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions a plus)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism

• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a dynamic work environment

• Leadership and team collaboration experience

• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

Work Environment

• Hybrid work model: a mix of remote and in-office work- Our office is located in Bradenton, FL
