Our diverseteam combines talent, experience, and character, moving our company forward byembracing new trends while maintaining the highest standards.The Senior Accountant will take ownership of the month-end close process, work-in-progress (WIP) schedules, and overall financial accuracy. This role is responsible forreviewing work, identifying issues, and ensuring consistency across accountingprocesses. You will partner closely with operations and leadership to provide clear,accurate financial insight across projects, ensuring consistency across accountingprocesses.Responsibilities of the Role: Overseeing the monthly close process to ensure all deadlines are consistentlymet. Reviewing and verifying journal entries, account reconciliations, and supportingschedules for accuracy. Preparing and analyzing financial statements while investigating and explainingvariances. Managing work-in-progress (WIP) schedules, including cost-to-completecalculations and job performance tracking. Collaborating with project managers to validate job costs and resolvediscrepancies. Ensuring consistency in accounts payable coding and addressing complexvendor issues. Identifying operational process gaps and implementing effective improvements. Maintaining strong internal controls and ensuring audit readiness. Providing support for payroll-related accounting and allocation processes. Applying analytical and problem-solving skills to consistently take ownership anddrive results.Qualifications required: Possess 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within theconstruction industry. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field or equivalent workexperience will be considered; CPA certification preferred. Demonstrate proven experience leading and managing the month-end closeprocess. Exhibit strong proficiency in work-in-progress (WIP) and job costing, as well asadvanced skills with digital tools such as Excel, Google Chat, Zoom, and Gmail.Join C.R.
