Job summary

The role focuses on month-end close, GAAP compliance, and enhancing reporting accuracy for a multi-entity environment. Local candidates or relocation to Atlanta are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• 2–4+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience with inventory accounting or multi-entity accounting preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and ERP experience (Oracle/Workday/SAP/NetSuite).
• Strong communication and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, review and approve journal entries, and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Aid in creation and implementation of accounting best practices and procedures.
• Work closely with operations and leadership to gather financial data, resolve discrepancies, and enhance reporting accuracy.
• Assist in preparation of consolidated financial statements and ensure timely submission of financial reports.
• Prepare balance sheet and inter/intracompany reconciliations, assist with audit coordination, and assist with special projects.
