Job summary

Octagon in the United States is seeking a Senior Account Manager to lead client programs at the intersection of sports, entertainment, and experiential marketing. You will guide day-to-day strategic planning, program development, and measurement for our global soccer partnerships, including NWSL, MLS, USL clubs, and US Soccer.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage budgets and scopes of work, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Five to seven years of work with an agency, brand, or property on developing integrated brand campaigns in global sports.
• Superior verbal and written communication with the ability to tailor messages for diverse audiences.
• Strategic, collaborative approach to problem solving and relationship building across teams.
• Proven track record of cultivating positive agency, client, vendor, and property relationships.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (20-45%); US passport required.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day strategic planning, program development/execution, and measurement for client club partnerships.
• Assist in developing strategic plans, activation recommendations, budgets, and scopes of work.
• Contribute as a member of an integrated team for FIFA program management across multiple constituencies.
• Collaborate with Experiences team to develop/activate programs aligned with client goals.
• Manage documents such as budgets, status reports, inventory tracking, and meeting notes.
