Job summary

BioMarin in Nashville is seeking an Account Manager to drive area sales, build relationships with pediatric endocrinology, orthopedics, and genetics, and expand access to skeletal dysplasia therapies.

You will travel 40-60% of the time across the territory, conducting scientific education with providers and coordinating with MSLs, Market Access, and Compliance to ensure compliant, patient-centric care.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales experience in biotech/rare disease involving specialty products that are technically challenging and first in class.
• Experience with office-based selling in complex referral networks.
• Experience in field team model with clinical support and reimbursement hub.

Responsibilities

• Achieve area sales objectives and revenue targets on a quarterly and annual basis.
• Drive demand through clinical selling and education to referring and treating health care providers focusing on skeletal conditions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Pediatric Endocrinology, Orthopedics, Genetics, and referring physicians.
• Collaborate with Skeletal Dysplasia brand team and other functions such as MSLs and Market Access.
• Provide clinical data insights to internal partners and articulate its significance to stakeholders.
