Job summary

HUB International is seeking an Account Manager- Commercial Lines to service assigned commercial insurance accounts. You will develop and maintain client relationships, gather information for submissions, and prepare proposals in alignment with client needs and market conditions.

Responsibilities include account analysis, data accuracy, and contributing to departmental production goals, while handling related administrative tasks and potential premium collections.

Qualifications

• Experience with commercial insurance.
• Thorough knowledge of commercial lines coverages and markets.
• Producer’s license.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze commercial accounts for coverage, limits, etc., and make recommendations to clients.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure service needs are met.
• Develop new business from existing accounts and assigned leads to meet production goals.
• Gather information from clients and prepare applications for submission to Marketing for new/renewal coverage.
• Prepare client proposals based on client needs, rates and coverages.
• Prepare all transactions for assigned accounts (applications, certificates of insurance, invoices, forms).
• Maintain data accuracy in the agency management system.
• May handle collections of premiums due.
• Conduct business with understanding of earnings implications for the Company.
• Keep informed of industry changes and trends to support profit objectives.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by Manager.
