Insurance Office of America, a leading independent broker, seeks an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to oversee a book of business and drive retention. You will coordinate daily administrative tasks, support new business, resolve complex issues, and ensure accurate policy administration and billing.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in account management within insurance, active P&C license, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management experience in insurance.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active P&C license; CIC or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities.
• Resolve complex issues and ensure accuracy in policy administration and billing.
• Renewals: manage expirations, prepare submissions, and negotiate coverages.
• Monitor (receivable) and ensure timely collection of outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency systems and carrier/vendor platforms with data accuracy.
