Choice Insurance Agency in Virginia Beach is seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager to lead a portfolio of personal lines clients and deliver exceptional service. You will act as a trusted advisor on coverage needs and partner with carriers through the claims process.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in personal lines account management, strong communication skills, and the ability to mentor junior team members while driving client retention.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Property & Casualty Insurance License.
• 5+ years of personal lines insurance account management experience.
• Strong knowledge of homeowners, auto, renters, and umbrella coverage.
• Excellent communication and relationship-management skills.
• Proficient with agency management systems and CRM.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of personal lines clients.
• Conduct policy reviews and recommend coverage solutions based on client needs.
• Process new business, renewals, endorsements, policy changes, and cancellations.
• Partner with carriers and clients to support claims and ongoing guidance.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell and round out accounts through consultative conversations.
• Maintain accurate client records in agency systems.
• Assist with training and mentoring junior account managers.
• Stay current on industry trends, carrier offerings, and regulatory requirements.

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Minimumof 5 years of experience in personal lines insurance account management.

• Excellentcommunication, customer service, and relationship-management skills.
• Strongorganizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritieseffectively.
• Proficiencywith insurance agency management systems, CRM platforms, and MicrosoftOffice.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, or a related field.
• Experiencemanaging complex or high-value personal lines accounts.
• Previousmentoring or leadership experience within an insurance agency environment.
