Senior Account Executive, Tax/Trade - IL

This position is responsible for developing account plans for new and existing accounts, prospecting new customers, and closing full solution sales to corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Prospecting: Actively seek new business opportunities, maintain a healthy sales pipeline, and aim for 3-4 times coverage of sales targets monthly and quarterly.
  2. Account Management: Handle major accounts with revenues of $500M+, leading sales processes from initial contact to renewal.
  3. Achieve Sales Goals: Meet or exceed revenue targets.
  4. Collaborate across functions to tailor solutions.
  5. Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.
  6. Update CRM systems regularly and engage in client meetings.
Qualifications:
  • Proven success in selling complex software to large enterprises using consultative and value-based approaches.
  • Self-starter with a growth mindset and adaptability.
  • Experience selling to C-level executives and managing detailed sales processes.
  • Deep understanding of AI applications in legal operations is preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of direct sales experience, with a strong track record of meeting quotas.
  • Ability to develop and execute account plans.
  • Willingness to travel 25-50%.
Benefits and Compensation:

Target total cash compensation ranges from $178,500 to $331,500, including base salary and incentives. Thomson Reuters offers flexible work arrangements, extensive benefits, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
