Job Description

If you enjoy hunting for new business and the thrill of winning, then you're the person we're looking for to grow our sales team! With uncapped earning potential, the Senior Account Executive will be part of our dynamic sales organization, responsible for developing and closing new business opportunities.

You will identify and source your own pipeline, call on enterprise organizations, and guide them through an enterprise sales process. Using primarily outbound prospecting initiatives, you will qualify leads, identify decision-makers, determine customer needs, present and demonstrate our solutions, overcome objections, and close sales—owning the full sales cycle. You will collaborate with Business Development Managers, Solution Engineers, and other colleagues, executing each phase of the complex sales process to high standards and helping evolve our Go-To-Market strategy. As a new Senior AE, you'll receive training and development with significant opportunities for advancement for top performers. You will report to the VP of Data & Analytics Sales.

What will you do?
  • Develop and execute sales plans to exceed sales goals through prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing opportunities
  • Manage sales pipeline to meet or exceed revenue quotas
  • Use a consultative approach to diagnose customer needs
  • Remain highly knowledgeable of company products and target industries
  • Communicate effectively with management, customers, and support staff
  • Close deals and acquire new customers
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5 years of enterprise software sales experience
  • Experience managing and closing complex sales cycles
  • Proven track record of exceeding quotas year-over-year
  • Ability to work from home (if outside Raleigh, NC)
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment; highly motivated and quick learner
  • Disciplined in daily activity planning, goal setting, and results achievement
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Energy, drive, commitment, and passion
