SENIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

Pitchblend is seeking a strategic, client-focused, and results-driven Senior Account Executive to lead impactful communications campaigns for our high-profile global clients.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Account Executive to take charge of executing high-impact PR strategies across a diverse range of exciting accounts. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in managing client relationships, driving media outreach, and crafting compelling brand narratives. As a Senior Account Executive, you’ll have the opportunity to lead integrated campaigns, manage day‑to‑day client communication, and collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution and results that drive measurable impact. This role is open to candidates located in the New York City or Los Angeles metro areas. Relocation assistance is not provided.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the execution of integrated PR strategies across multiple client accounts, ensuring alignment with client goals.
  • Draft and pitch engaging media materials, including press releases, media advisories, and pitch emails.
  • Manage media outreach, build relationships with key journalists, influencers, and bloggers, and secure placements in top-tier outlets.
  • Track and analyze media coverage, preparing detailed reports on campaign performance and insights.
  • Coordinate logistics for media events, influencer activations, and product launches, ensuring smooth execution.
  • Collaborate with the internal creative, digital, and strategy teams to ensure campaigns are on‑brand and executed flawlessly.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging media opportunities to keep clients ahead of the curve.
  • Maintain organized media lists and accurate records to ensure effective outreach and follow‑ups.
  • Contribute to client‑facing materials, such as campaign reports, presentations, and strategic proposals.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, helping them grow and succeed in their roles.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in PR, communications, or brand strategy, ideally within an agency setting.
  • Proven experience managing client relationships and delivering successful PR campaigns.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to create clear, compelling media materials.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple clients and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to confidently interact with clients, media, and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in media outreach tools, social media platforms, and PR software (e.g., Meltwater, Muck Rack, etc.).
  • Tech‑savvy, with comfort using tools like Slack, Notion, Monday.com, and other project management platforms.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment with a solutions‑oriented mindset.
  • A proactive, detail‑oriented approach, with a passion for staying on top of industry trends and evolving media opportunities.
