EvolveMKD, a leadingBrand Relations agency in Manhattan, seeks a Senior Account Executive to oversee multiple client accounts, mentor junior staff, and drive media launch and ongoing PR initiatives. The role emphasizes strong media relations, strategic partnerships, and proactive client leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, English, Marketing a plus but not required
• Minimum 4-5 years agency experience required
• Experience in consumer, beauty, or lifestyle preferred; healthcare a plus
• Strong writing, copy-editing, and presentation skills
• Outstanding written and verbal communication with attention to detail
• Ability to ideate and execute end-to-end client strategy
• Proven track record of generating results
• Highly organized, responsive, and punctual
• Hands-on mentality and strong work ethic in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive and anticipatory in nature with consistent follow-up
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite, Zoom, and Slack

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains strong relationships with long-lead and short-lead media (broadcast a plus)
• Understands media strategy, media & influencer relations and landscape
• Acts as quality control and editor with junior team members
• Ensures quality work from team to meet/exceed client expectations
• Assists in development and management of events as needed
• Oversees day-to-day needs of client ensuring timely responses
• Manages activations such as events, treatment days and mailers
• Maintains communication with clients and works closely with them
• Handles client and account challenges quickly and adeptly
• Develops client presentations
• Assists with budgeting for activations and yearly trackers
• Provides leadership and guidance to junior team members
• Strongly manages up and supports managers
• Collaborates with peers to advance agency mission and culture
• Shows eagerness to learn integrated marketing communications
