Job summary

5W Public Relations LLC seeks an Account Director to support our Corporate practice. This high-impact role is ideal for a seasoned agency professional who can hit the ground running with corporate clients across financial services, technology, and ESG.

You will lead strategic communications programs, craft executive campaigns, manage multiple accounts, and mentor teams while strengthening client relationships—hybrid work in Tampa.

Qualifications

• B.A in Public Relations or related field
• At least 6 years of PR agency experience, specifically with corporate clients
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership and motivation skills
• Proven client relations, management and supervisory skills
• Creative and energetic personality

Responsibilities

• Act as primary contact to clients and foster trusted relationships.
• Overseeing and implementing strategic communications programming.
• Executive creative campaigns and brand partnerships.
• Manage daily workflow of multiple accounts.
• Communicate account status to management regularly.
• Demonstrate proficiency in writing and editing materials.
• Provide strategic guidance to clients and team on an ongoing basis.
• Troubleshoot media, team, or strategy problems; seek senior input when appropriate.
• Motivate team members with constructive feedback.
• Develop communication and presentation skills to articulate ideas to clients and colleagues.
• Lead monthly conference calls with clients.
• Guide team on pitching, workflow and account issues.
• Participate in development of materials for new business opportunities; assist leads.
• Brainstorm for strategic/creative thinking for clients.
• Misc research and duties as required.
