5W Public Relations LLC. is seeking a dynamic Account Director to support our Corporate practice in Miami.

This high-impact role suits a seasoned agency professional who can hit the ground running, managing strategic communications programs for corporate clients across financial services, tech, and ESG sectors. You’ll act as primary client contact, lead teams, oversee campaigns, and craft compelling materials and media strategies while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• BA in Public Relations or related field.
• At least 6 years of PR agency experience with corporate clients.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and supervisory abilities.
• Proven client relations and account management.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary client contact and nurture client–agency relationships.
• Overseeing and implementing strategic communications programming.
• Executive creative campaigns and brand partnerships.
• Manage daily workflow of multiple accounts.
• Communicate account status to agency management.
• Write and edit materials, including presentations and media strategies.
• Provide strategic guidance to clients and team members.
• Troubleshoot media, team, or strategy issues and escalate as needed.
• Motivate team with timely feedback.
• Develop communication and presentation skills to articulate ideas.
• Lead monthly client conference calls and meetings.
• Guide team on pitching and account workflow.
• Assist in developing materials for new business opportunities.
• Participate in brainstorming for strategic/creative thinking.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Act as primary contact to clients, continually fostering client-agency relationship to build trust and become a valuable resource and counselor to clients.
• Overseeing and implementing strategic communications programming
• Executive creative campaigns and brand partnerships
• Manage and delegate responsibilities of daily workflow of multiple accounts.
• Communicate account status to agency management regularly.
• Demonstrate proficiency in writing and editing materials particularly presentations, program plans and media strategies.
• Provide strategic guidance to clients and team members on an ongoing basis; anticipate and address clients’ needs.
• Troubleshoot media, team, or strategy problems as they arise; seek senior management input when appropriate.
• Motivate team members by promptly reviewing work and providing constructive feedback.
• Strive to develop the best communication and presentation skills possible to effectively articulate ideas to clients, colleagues and others.
• Conduct and lead monthly conference calls and meetings with clients
• Provide guidance and leadership to team members on effective pitching, team issues, account workflow and general account issues.
• Participate in the development of materials for new business opportunities including timelines, proposals, business decks and case studies; assist in generating new business leads.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop strategic/creative thinking for clients.
• Misc. research, duties and projects as required.

• S/B.A in Public Relations or related field
• At least 6 years of PR agency experience, specifically working with corporate clients
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership and motivation skills
• Proven client relations, management and supervisory skills
