Job Description

Title: Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines

Remote: Florida Residents Only | Based out of Miami, FL | Book Focus: Condos, Construction

About the Role: Provide administrative and customer service support to the account team, Producer, and/or assigned group of accounts. Work under the general direction of an Account Manager (AM), Account Executive (AE), or Producer, ensuring production and quality standards are met while safeguarding against liability associated with errors and omissions. Independently resolve moderately complex customer service problems and manage small-sized accounts or those with the least complex needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in directing day-to-day activities and workflow of team support staff.
• Track policy expirations, process renewals accurately and timely.
• Handle policy endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and related documentation.
• Support new and renewal business activities, including client research, underwriting, loss analysis, proposals, binding, and follow-up.
• Review contracts for proper coverage inclusion.
• Monitor and act on delinquent accounts.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier platforms.
• Ensure timely completion of activities and maintain transparent communication.
• Deliver excellent customer service and proactively address needs.
• Stay updated on company policies and procedures.
• Seek continuous improvement and demonstrate integrity and leadership aligned with IOA values.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing required; professional designation (CISR) preferred.
