Job Description

Title: Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines

Remote: Florida Residents Only | Based in Miami, FL | Focus: Condos, Construction

About the Role:

Provide administrative and customer service support to the account team, Producer, and/or assigned group of accounts. Work under the guidance of an Account Manager, Account Executive, or Producer to meet production and quality standards while minimizing liability. Independently resolve moderately complex customer service issues and manage small or less complex accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in directing daily activities of support staff and team members.
  • Track policy expirations and ensure timely renewals.
  • Handle policy endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and related documentation.
  • Support new and renewal business processes, including client research, underwriting, proposals, binding, and follow-up.
  • Review contracts for proper coverage inclusion.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and collect outstanding balances.
  • Maintain agency management systems and carrier platforms.
  • Ensure timely completion of activities and communicate workload status.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and respond promptly to requests.
  • Stay updated on policies and procedures, and seek continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrate integrity and leadership aligned with IOA values.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of customer service experience in insurance.
  • Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
  • Active licensing required; professional designation (CISR) preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
