Job Description

Title: Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines

Location: Remote (Florida Residents Only, based in Miami, FL) | Book Focus: Condos, Construction

About the Role:

Provide administrative and customer service support to the account team, Producer, and/or assigned group of accounts. Work under the guidance of an Account Manager, Account Executive, or Producer, ensuring standards are met while minimizing liability. Independently resolve moderately complex customer service issues and manage small or less complex accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in directing daily activities of team support staff and receptionists.
• Track policy expirations and ensure timely renewals.
• Handle policy endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and related documentation.
• Support new and renewal business processes, including client research, underwriting, loss analysis, proposal preparation, and policy binding.
• Review contracts for proper coverage inclusion.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on delinquent accounts.
• Maintain agency management and carrier/vendor systems for data accuracy.
• Ensure timely completion of activities and maintain communication with the team.
• Deliver excellent service, anticipate client needs, and respond promptly.
• Stay updated on company policies and seek continuous improvement.
• Demonstrate integrity and leadership aligning with IOA values.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

• At least 3 years of customer service experience in insurance.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing required; CISR designation preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
