Job Description

Title: Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines

Location: Remote (Florida Residents Only, based out of Miami, FL)

Book Focus: Condos, Construction

About the Role

Provide administrative and customer service support to the account team, Producer, and/or assigned group of accounts. Work under the guidance of an Account Manager, Account Executive, or Producer to ensure standards are met while minimizing liability. Independently resolve moderately complex customer service issues and manage small or less complex accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in directing daily activities of team support staff.
• Track policy expirations and ensure timely renewals.
• Handle policy endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and related tasks.
• Support new and renewal business processes, including client research, underwriting, proposals, and policy binding.
• Review contracts for proper coverage.
• Monitor accounts receivable and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management and carrier systems.
• Ensure timely activity completion and communicate effectively with the team.
• Deliver excellent client service and maintain policy compliance.
• Seek continuous improvement and embody IOA values.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

• 3+ years in customer service within the insurance industry.
• Knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing required; CISR designation preferred.
