Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an experienced technical support engineer to provide direct support to global power plants equipped with GE Vernova equipment. You will resolve complex accessory system issues, lead root-cause analyses, and deliver technical guidance to customers through webinars and documents.

You will collaborate with multiple engineering and product teams, travel to sites as needed, and contribute to a safety-conscious, high-performance environment across the Americas region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of direct experience in the power industry in the US.
• Ability to travel to customer sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Apply system knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve power plant accessory system issues.
• Own ER technical inquiries and resolve with urgency and limited direction.
• Develop technical expertise across accessory systems and plant equipment.
• Drive RCAs and communicate findings to field teams and customers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide timely technical resolutions.
