Job summary

Virtusa is seeking an Intermediate Accessibility QA Engineer to validate and improve the accessibility of our platforms. You will test complex, real-time interactive components such as dynamic comboboxes, auto-suggestions, voice-input controls and rich media snippet cards to ensure WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA compliance.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of software testing with at least 2 years focused on web and mobile accessibility QA, and hands-on experience with screen readers and keyboard-only

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of software testing experience, with at least 2 years in accessibility QA.
• Experience testing complex interactive widgets with keyboard and screen readers.
• Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA, Section 508, and ARIA practices.
• Ability to inspect HTML/ARIA and diagnose accessibility issues in the DOM.

Responsibilities

• Test accessibility of dynamic UI elements across browsers and screen readers.
• Log precise bugs with reproduction steps and accessibility impact.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to prevent regressions.
• Verify focus management, keyboard navigation, and ARIA correctness.
