Mozilla is seeking a skilled developer to join the Accessibility Team and enhance the Gecko accessibility engine across multiple platforms. You will work on core web rendering and collaborate with design and front‑end teams to deliver accessible Mozilla products.

Qualifications

• Proficient in C++ and systems programming.
• Knowledge of web accessibility and ARIA.
• Familiar with JavaScript and web concepts.
• Experience with cross‑platform native applications.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Able to learn a large multi‑language code base.

Responsibilities

• Improve architecture, stability, and performance of Gecko accessibility engine.
• Debug and fix multi‑process, multi‑threaded issues across OSes.
• Collaborate with design and front‑end teams to remediate accessibility issues.
• Contribute to open source Mozilla projects and engage with the community.
• Write tests, specs, prototypes, and bug reports for accessibility features.
