The Senior Accessibility Consultant is an experienced business development role that cultivates relationships with key stakeholders and customers to support overall CSD revenue maintenance and growth. The Senior Accessibility Consultant is responsible for identifying, sourcing, and developing regional and national customer relationships, leading to partnership opportunities that achieve established benchmarks for new business income. The Senior Accessibility Consultant contributes to CSD’s overall sales strategy, helping define and implement plans to achieve companywide objectives.

The ideal Senior Accessibility Consultant is an experienced senior sales leader who is focused on developing relationships with external entities, clients, partners, customers, and key stakeholders seeking services and solutions from CSD’s ASL Now team as well as CSD Access. The Senior Accessibility Consultant will be adept at analyzing sales performance metrics, negotiating contracts, and exceeding goals.

Requirements
  • Responsible for all activities related to moving opportunities through the sales pipeline (prospecting, qualifying, proposing, negotiating, and closing). These activities include the development of quality presentations and proposals that optimally represent the full continuum of services offered by CSD.
  • Accountable for the vigilant documentation of all sales activities using the established Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool so that progress can be easily tracked and reliable forecast models can be generated for business use.
  • Promotes and sells services by establishing contact and developing relationships with new prospects. Recommends CSD solutions that best meet the needs of the organization.
  • Assists with research and information gathering to enable the company to put forth the strongest possible proposals for RFPs.
  • Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance, researching and recommending new opportunities, recommending process and service improvements.
  • Leverages professional and community networks to generate intelligence that supports the development of discrete sales and partnership opportunities.
  • Participates in national marketing, community, and public relations events in target markets.
  • Acts as the Subject Matter Expert for CSD ASL Now and CSD Access products and services.
  • Participates in strategically important customer-focused events to explore and pursue contract opportunities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

To perform the essential functions of this position successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Knowledge and skill using different sales techniques, including relationship management, networking, prospecting, and lead generation, all with the ability to capture and close the deal.
  • Extremely proactive, motivated, organized, responsible and able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to interact with high-profile public individuals and to effectively communicate objectives across division lines.
  • Results-driven approach with evidence of delivering against sales targets and a demonstrated track record of service and client retention.
  • Experience in working with the deaf and hard-of-hearing communities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field from an accredited college or university; or equivalent professional experience.
  • Five plus years of professional experience in sales, account management, business development, or service experience.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing contracts.
  • Ability to communicate effectively using American Sign Language (required).

This position is largely self-directed and requires understanding and compliance with company policies, procedures, and values. The position works in a virtual office environment utilizing a computer and standard office equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to interact collaboratively with the team and stakeholders, and communicate via phone, videophone, or text messaging. The employee may be required to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The position requires travel up to 20%.
