Job summary

C2 Technology group is seeking an experienced access control technician to install, configure, and troubleshoot card readers, door controllers, and credential platforms at client sites in Montgomery, AL. The role includes cabling, site surveys, and coordination with project teams to ensure quality installations.

The position requires at least 3 years of verifiable experience, familiarity with Lenel, Software House, Genetec or similar platforms, and ability to pass pre-employment screenings and

Qualifications

Must read, write, speak and understand English and perform basic math.
Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and troubleshoot access control systems including card readers, door controllers, and credential management platforms.
Pull and terminate low-voltage cabling associated with access control infrastructure.
Conduct site surveys and coordinate with project managers and engineers.
Complete installation documentation and quality assurance reports.
Perform system testing and commissioning upon project completion.
