We’re hiring a Lenel Certified Expert (LCE) to support a high-profile access control program at San Francisco International Airport (SFO).

Join Birdi Systems, Inc. and work on mission-critical security systems in one of the most dynamic aviation environments in the country.

We are seeking Lenel Certified Expert (LCE) Technicians to support a large-scale, mission-critical access control program. This is a hands-on, on-site role in a fast-paced aviation environment, supporting advanced security infrastructure.

Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award. Candidates will be pre-qualified, with hiring initiated upon project award.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Lenel OnGuard (v8.2+) access control systems
• Provide advanced technical support for access control hardware and software
• Perform system upgrades, patching, and database maintenance
• Diagnose and resolve system issues to ensure maximum uptime and performance
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and airport stakeholders
• Document system configurations, maintenance activities, and service reports
• Support integrations with CCTV, intrusion detection, and other security platforms

Required Qualifications:

• Lenel Certified Expert (LCE) certification (REQUIRED – must be current)
• Hands-on experience with Lenel OnGuard 8.2 or higher
• Strong troubleshooting and system integration experience
• Ability to work on-site at SFO (40 hours/week)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in aviation, transportation, government, or high-security environments
• Prior experience as a technical lead or mentoring junior technicians
• Additional certifications in:
• Access Control Systems
• CCTV / Video Management Systems

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to obtain and maintain airport/security badging
• Ability to pass background checks for secure environments
