Job summary

Sound Specialists Inc. seeks an Embedded Security Systems Technician to be a full-time, on-site resource for maintaining and optimizing electronic security across corporate campuses and executive facilities in the San Francisco Bay Area.

You will collaborate with client Security, Facilities, IT, and external vendors; perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot complex issues, install new devices, and support upgrades, all while maintaining professionalism and discretion in high-profile

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in electronics/IT/electrical systems.
• California BSIS licenses or certifications required or obtainable.
• Experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise security systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary on-site technical resource for electronic security systems.
• Maintain, support, troubleshoot, and optimize systems across multiple facilities.
• Perform preventive maintenance, health checks, inspections, and testing.
• Diagnose and resolve issues involving hardware, software, programming, power, wiring, networks, and databases.
• Coordinate with Security, Facilities, IT, and vendors on upgrades and projects.
• Read drawings, schematics, manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical docs.
• Travel between client facilities throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
