Job summary

You will use student information systems to monitor progress, provide ongoing guidance, and coordinate with the Health Professions and Prelaw Advising Office. Requires strong communication and commitment to student success.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in related field.
• Master's degree in a liberal arts field preferred.
• 5 years in student affairs, teaching, academic advising, or related field.
• Experience in a student-focused, higher education environment is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Provides academic counseling for students pursuing majors, minors, or certificates.
• Guides students in planning their course of study in concert with curricular requirements.
• Meets with students in groups and 1-on-1 to guide academic programs.
• Maintains confidential student records and FERPA compliance.
• Represents the advising function at campus meetings and recruiting functions.
