Job summary

Old National Bank is seeking an Application Developer III to lead configuration and optimization of Abrigo solutions across lending, credit analysis, and risk workflows. You will partner with Commercial Banking, Credit, and Compliance to translate requirements into scalable platform configurations while guiding a team of analysts.

The role includes managing environment upgrades, data mappings, and reporting templates, with a focus on CECL and AML/BSA regulatory support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS or related field.
• 5+ years configuring enterprise financial software platforms, preferably Abrigo.
• 2+ years of people leadership experience.
• Working knowledge of commercial lending workflows, credit analysis, and risk management concepts.
• Experience with API-based integrations and data mapping between financial systems.
• Strong SQL skills for data validation, reporting, and troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical configurations.
• Experience managing platform environments (production, UAT, sandbox).
• Preferred: Abrigo's commercial lending, credit, or AML/BSA modules.
• Preferred: CECL methodologies and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Preferred: Experience at a bank with $25B+ in assets.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Abrigo platform modules (Sageworks) including loan origination, credit analysis, portfolio analytics, and risk rating workflows.
• Design and implement automated workflows, decisioning rules, and approval routing within the Abrigo environment.
• Manage data integrations between Abrigo and core banking systems, ensuring bidirectional data sync via APIs and secure gateways.
• Lead platform upgrades, patch deployments, and environment management across production and sandbox instances.
• Partner with Commercial Banking, Credit Administration, and Compliance leadership to translate business requirements into technical configurations.
• Develop and maintain field mappings, custom reports, templates, and user-defined fields for Commercial Banking operations.
• Support BSA/AML module configuration including alert tuning, scenario management, and regulatory reporting workflows.
• Conduct user acceptance testing and coordinate releases with business stakeholders.
• Lead, develop, and mentor configuration analysts; create technical documentation; manage Abrigo vendor relationships.
• Troubleshoot configuration issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes with minimal business disruption.
