Qualifications

• ABB Robotics Expertise: 5+ years programming ABB robots with RAPID and RobotStudio.
• PLC programming: 2+ years with ladder logic in Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Studio 5000 or equivalent.
• Safety networks and motion control: experience with vision-guided systems and safety interlocks.
• Education: Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, Robotics or related field; extensive hands-on integration welcomed in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Write, simulate, and optimize ABB RAPID code and RobotStudio models for seamless ABB robot integration.
• Lead full-lifecycle machine projects from design to floor build and debugging.
• Configure hardware protocols, fieldbus (EtherNet/IP, PROFINET), and EOAT interfaces.
• Troubleshoot integration issues including pathing, cycle times and control logic on the build floor and in the field.
• Lead client onsite deployments, including SAT and customer sign-offs, up to 30% travel.
• Create comprehensive system documentation: logic sequences, operation manuals, and electrical schematics.
