Job summary

Abatherapypartners is seeking a compassionate Behavior Technician to deliver 1:1 ABA therapy to children with developmental disabilities under BCBA supervision. You will implement intervention plans, collect data, and maintain accurate progress notes in collaboration with the treatment team.

The role requires certification as a Behavior Technician or enrollment to take the RBT exam, CPI and CPR/BLS, and a willingness to obtain OSHA/HIPAA certifications.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Behavior Technician by BACB.com or registered to take the RBT exam.
• CPR/CPI certifications required or willing to obtain before hire.
• OSHA, HIV, HIPAA, CPR, and First Aid certifications or willingness to obtain.
• HS diploma required; basic math and data collection skills.
• Experience with children with developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children.
• Implement behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Collect and document data on client progress.
• Communicate progress with supervising BCBA and team.
• Assist in creating instructional materials as needed.
• Support multiple children when required.
• Attend training and team meetings as scheduled.
• Maintain safety and high-quality care at all times.
