Job summary

The MIL Corporation seeks a CCoE Telecommunications Engineering Technician III to support a Federal Government client at Ft. Gordon, GA. The role covers on-site IT and A/V installations, with travel up to 50-75% as projects demand. Must have 6+ years of A/V experience and the ability to follow diagrams.

Clearance and HS/GED are required; travel to CONUS/OCONUS sites is expected. Compensation is aligned with SCA wage determinations for the Georgia locale.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience testing and/or integrating A/V equipment.
• Ability to follow basic flow diagrams.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Good verbal and written communications abilities.
• Experience using MS Office products.
• Must be able to lift items to NIOSH limits; stand/kneel/crouch; climb ladders.

Responsibilities

• Builds AV racks based on drawings provided by the engineering team.
• Leads on-site integration and installation.
• Labels communications infrastructure including cable, panels, patch cords and electronics.
• Installs and mounts equipment such as monitors, speakers, and microphones.
• Fabricates, terminates, and installs AV cabling.
• Tests, commissions, and troubleshoots AV systems.
• Performs inventory management and records configuration information.
