Job summary

The MIL Corporation is seeking a CCoE Telecommunications Engineering Technician I to support on-site IT and A/V installations at Fort Gordon, GA. The role involves following detailed procedures, performing basic wiring, and assisting with pre-install tests.

Candidates must be able to obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance. Travel up to CONUS/OCONUS up to three weeks, totaling ~50-75% travel. This SCA position follows DoL wage determinations and pays $22.92–$27.89 per hour, depending on qualifications.

Qualifications

• Read and understand architectural/mechanical drawings.
• Install and support IT or telecom equipment installations.
• Must be able to lift items and work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow engineering drawings and work instructions
• Assemble or install equipment requiring simple wiring or soldering
• Assist for pre-installation testing of materials
• Perform tasks in confined spaces as needed
• Maintain quality and safety of work
• Provide redlines to as-built drawings and documentation
